The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

महतामपि नो देवः प्रतिपालयति क्षणम् ।
कालः कवलितानन्तविश्वो विश्वात्मतां गतः ॥ ६ ॥

mahatāmapi no devaḥ pratipālayati kṣaṇam |
kālaḥ kavalitānantaviśvo viśvātmatāṃ gataḥ || 6 ||

Time as master of all, spares not even the greatest of us for a moment. He swallows the universe within himself, whence he is known as the universal soul.
