The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सतां कथमिवास्थेह जायते जालपञ्जरे ।
बाला एवात्तुमिच्छन्ति फलं मुकुरबिम्बितम् ॥ २ ॥

satāṃ kathamivāstheha jāyate jālapañjare |
bālā evāttumicchanti phalaṃ mukurabimbitam || 2 ||

Good people can have no more confidence in the net work of their ribs, than little children may have a liking for fruits reflected in a mirror.
