The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.21.25

इतो मांसमितो रक्तमितोऽस्थीनीति वासरैः ।
ब्रह्मन्कतिपयैरेव याति स्त्री विशरारुताम् ॥ २५ ॥

ito māṃsamito raktamito'sthīnīti vāsaraiḥ |
brahmankatipayaireva yāti strī viśarārutām || 25 ||

Here and there, O Brahman! her flesh and blood and bones undergo a change for the worse in course of a few days.
