The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दुरीहालब्धलक्षाणि बहुवक्रोल्बणानि च ।
बालस्य यानि दुःखानि मुने तानि न कस्यचित् ॥ २३ ॥

durīhālabdhalakṣāṇi bahuvakrolbaṇāni ca |
bālasya yāni duḥkhāni mune tāni na kasyacit || 23 ||

Children have much difficulty to get at the things they want, and which they can ask only by indistinct words. Hence no one suffers so much as boys.
