The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.18.29

नखोर्णनाभिनिलयं सरमारणितान्तरम् ।
भाङ्कारकारिपवनं नेष्टं देहगृहं मम ॥ २९ ॥

nakhorṇanābhinilayaṃ saramāraṇitāntaram |
bhāṅkārakāripavanaṃ neṣṭaṃ dehagṛhaṃ mama || 29 ||

This body with its nails as those of spiders, and its entrails growling within like barking dogs, and the internal winds emitting fearful sounds, is never delightsome to me.
