The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.18.25

गुल्फगुग्गुलुविश्रान्तजानूर्ध्वस्तम्भमस्तकम् ।
दीघदोर्दारुसुदृढं नेष्टं देहगृहं मम ॥ २५ ॥

gulphagugguluviśrāntajānūrdhvastambhamastakam |
dīghadordārusudṛḍhaṃ neṣṭaṃ dehagṛhaṃ mama || 25 ||

It is a hovel standing on the two props of our heels, and supported by the two posts of our legs.
