The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पङ्क्तिबद्धेन्द्रियपशुं वलत्तृष्णागृहाङ्गनम् ।
रागरञ्जितसर्वाङ्गं नेष्टं देहगृहं मम ॥ १९ ॥

paṅktibaddhendriyapaśuṃ valattṛṣṇāgṛhāṅganam |
rāgarañjitasarvāṅgaṃ neṣṭaṃ dehagṛhaṃ mama || 19 ||

This body which is linked with its limbs like beasts of burthen labour, and is the abode of its mistress Avarice—painted over by her taints of passions, affords me no delight whatever.
