The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.18.18

कलेवरमहंकारगृहस्थस्य महागृहम् ।
लुठत्वभ्येतु वा स्थैर्यं किमनेन मुने मम ॥ १८ ॥

kalevaramahaṃkāragṛhasthasya mahāgṛham |
luṭhatvabhyetu vā sthairyaṃ kimanena mune mama || 18 ||

The body is the big abode of its owner's egoism, and therefore it is of no interest to me whether it lasts or falls.
