The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एषा हि पदमेकत्र न निबध्नाति दुर्भगा ।
दग्धेवानियताचारमितश्चेतश्च धावति ॥ ४ ॥

eṣā hi padamekatra na nibadhnāti durbhagā |
dagdhevāniyatācāramitaścetaśca dhāvati || 4 ||

She can never stand steady on her legs any where, but like a wretched woman who has burnt her feet, she limps from one place to another.
