The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.11.9

एतावताथ कालेन रामो निजगृहासनात् ।
पितुः सकाशमागन्तुमुत्थितोऽर्क इवाचलात् ॥ ९ ॥

etāvatātha kālena rāmo nijagṛhāsanāt |
pituḥ sakāśamāgantumutthito'rka ivācalāt || 9 ||

By this very time Rama was preparing to rise from his seat in the palace to come over to his father, in the manner that the sun rises from the mountain in the east.
