The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यत्नप्रार्थनयास्माकं निजव्यापारमाह्निकम् ।
सोऽयमाम्लानवदनः करोति न करोति वा ॥ १० ॥

yatnaprārthanayāsmākaṃ nijavyāpāramāhnikam |
so'yamāmlānavadanaḥ karoti na karoti vā || 10 ||

When besought by us with importunity to perform his daily rites, he sometimes discharges them with a placid countenance, and wholly dispenses with them at others.
