The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वधर्मं प्रतिपद्यस्व न धर्मं हातुमर्हसि ।
मुनेस्त्रिभुवनेशस्य वचनं कर्तुमर्हसि ॥ ९ ॥

svadharmaṃ pratipadyasva na dharmaṃ hātumarhasi |
munestribhuvaneśasya vacanaṃ kartumarhasi || 9 ||

Preserve thy virtue and think not to break thy faith, comply with the request of the sage who is honoured in all the three worlds.
