The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तेषां न चान्यः काकुत्स्थाद्योद्धुमुत्सहते पुमान् ।
ऋते केसरिणः क्रुद्धान्मत्तानां करिणामिव ॥ १६ ॥

teṣāṃ na cānyaḥ kākutsthādyoddhumutsahate pumān |
ṛte kesariṇaḥ kruddhānmattānāṃ kariṇāmiva || 16 ||

No other man than Rama can make bold to fight with the Rakshasas; as no animal other than the furious lion can stand to fight with the wild elephants.
