The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.6.55

इदमतिमधुरं निशम्य वाक्यं श्रुतिसुखमात्मविदा विनीतमुक्तम् ।
प्रथितगुणयशागुणैर्विशिष्टं मुनिवृषभः परमं जगाम हर्षम् ॥ ५५ ॥

idamatimadhuraṃ niśamya vākyaṃ śrutisukhamātmavidā vinītamuktam |
prathitaguṇayaśāguṇairviśiṣṭaṃ munivṛṣabhaḥ paramaṃ jagāma harṣam || 55 ||

Upon hearing these sweet words (of the king), which were pleasing to the ears, and delivered with a humility worthy of one knowing himself, the far famed and meritorious chief of the sages felt highly gratified in himself.
