The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथेप्सितेन संयोग इष्टस्यागमनं यथा ।
प्रणष्टस्य यथा लाभो भवदागमनं तथा ॥ ४१ ॥
yathepsitena saṃyoga iṣṭasyāgamanaṃ yathā |
praṇaṣṭasya yathā lābho bhavadāgamanaṃ tathā || 41 ||
Your advent is no less pleasing to me than one's meeting with the object of his wishes, the arrival of a friend, and the recovery of thing that was given for lost.
