The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.6.25

मुनिरप्यवनीनाथं भास्वानिव शतक्रतुम् ।
तत्राभिवादयांचक्रे मधुरोदारया गिरा ॥ २५ ॥

munirapyavanīnāthaṃ bhāsvāniva śatakratum |
tatrābhivādayāṃcakre madhurodārayā girā || 25 ||

The sage also in his turn greeted the Lord of the earth on the spot with sweet and kind words, like the sun greeting the lord of the gods.
