The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.6.12

सभासुरपताकान्तं साश्वेभपुरुषायुधम् ।
कृतवांस्तं प्रदेशं यस्तेजोभिः कीर्णकाञ्चनम् ॥ १२ ॥

sabhāsurapatākāntaṃ sāśvebhapuruṣāyudham |
kṛtavāṃstaṃ pradeśaṃ yastejobhiḥ kīrṇakāñcanam || 12 ||

The brilliancy of his person has brightened the place from the top-most flag down to the ground, and made the horses, men and armory shine as with a golden hue.
