The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

देव द्वारि महातेजा बालभास्करभासुरः ।
ज्वालारुणजटाजूटः पुमाञ्छ्रीमानवस्थितः ॥ ११ ॥

deva dvāri mahātejā bālabhāskarabhāsuraḥ |
jvālāruṇajaṭājūṭaḥ pumāñchrīmānavasthitaḥ || 11 ||

"Please your majestic, there is waiting at the door a mighty personage of majestic appearance, bright as the morning sun, with his pendant locks of hair (red and ruddy) as sunbeams.
