The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स राज्ञो दर्शनाकाङ्क्षी द्वाराध्यक्षानुवाच ह ।
शीघ्रमाख्यात मां प्राप्तं कौशिकं गाधिनः सुतम् ॥ ७ ॥

sa rājño darśanākāṅkṣī dvārādhyakṣānuvāca ha |
śīghramākhyāta māṃ prāptaṃ kauśikaṃ gādhinaḥ sutam || 7 ||

Desirous of seeing the king, he spoke to the guards at the gate, to report the arrival of Kausika the son of Gadhi to the king with despatch.
