The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कपोलतलसंलीनपाणिः पद्मासनस्थितः ।
चिन्तापरवशस्तूष्णीमव्यापारो बभूव ह ॥ ६ ॥

kapolatalasaṃlīnapāṇiḥ padmāsanasthitaḥ |
cintāparavaśastūṣṇīmavyāpāro babhūva ha || 6 ||

He sat silent and motionless in the posture of his folded legs (Padmasana), and remained absorbed in thought with his palm placed under his cheek and neck.
