The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भरते संस्थिते नित्यं मातामहगृहे सुखम् ।
पालयत्यवनिं राज्ञि यथावदखिलाभिमाम् ॥ २ ॥

bharate saṃsthite nityaṃ mātāmahagṛhe sukham |
pālayatyavaniṃ rājñi yathāvadakhilābhimām || 2 ||

Bharata continued to dwell with joy at the house of his maternal grandfather, and the king (Dasaratha) ruled the whole earth as usual.
