The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.4.7

प्रातरुत्थाय रामोऽसौ कृत्वा संध्यां यथाविधि ।
सभासंस्थं ददर्शेन्द्रसमं स्वपितरं तथा ॥ ७ ॥

prātarutthāya rāmo'sau kṛtvā saṃdhyāṃ yathāvidhi |
sabhāsaṃsthaṃ dadarśendrasamaṃ svapitaraṃ tathā || 7 ||

He rose early in the morning and performed his morning service according to law. He then visited his father seated as Indra in his Council.
