The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जीवन्मुक्तिपदं प्राप्तो यथा रामो महामतिः ।
तत्तेऽहं शृणु वक्ष्याभि जरामरणशान्तये ॥ १६ ॥

jīvanmuktipadaṃ prāpto yathā rāmo mahāmatiḥ |
tatte'haṃ śṛṇu vakṣyābhi jarāmaraṇaśāntaye || 16 ||

I will explain to you how the high minded Rama attained the state of liberation in life, hear you this that old age and death may not come upon you.
