The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.1.28

इत्यहं देवराजेन सुभ्रूराज्ञापितस्तदा ।
दूत त्वं तत्र गच्छाशु गृहीत्वेदं विमानकम् ॥ २८ ॥

ityahaṃ devarājena subhrūrājñāpitastadā |
dūta tvaṃ tatra gacchāśu gṛhītvedaṃ vimānakam || 28 ||

On hearing that the king was practising the utmost rigors of asceticism in that forest, Indra, the lord of Gods, desired me to take this heavenly car and repair at once to the spot.
