The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सुरुचिरुवाच ।
देवदूत महाभाग कुत आगम्यते त्वया ।
अधुना कुत्र गन्तासि तत्सर्वं कृपया वद ॥ २२ ॥

devadūta mahābhāga kuta āgamyate tvayā |
adhunā kutra gantāsi tatsarvaṃ kṛpayā vada || 22 ||

Suruchi said:—O thou herald of gods, tell me kindly whence thou comest and whither art thou destined at present.
