भुवनज्ञानं सूर्ये संयमात् ॥ ३.२६ ॥
चन्द्रे ताराव्यूहज्ञानम् ॥ ३.२७ ॥
ध्रुवे तद्गतिज्ञानम् ॥ ३.२७ ॥

bhuvanajñānaṃ sūrye saṃyamāt || 3.26 ||
candre tārāvyūhajñānam || 3.27 ||
dhruve tadgatijñānam || 3.27 ||

(26) (By practising saṃyama) on the sun (the point in the body known as the solar entrance) knowledge of the cosmic regions is acquired. (27) (By practising saṃyama) on the moon (the lunar entrance) knowledge of the arrangements of stars is acquired. (28) (By practising saṃyama) on the pole-star, motion of the stars is known.
