Verse 2824: Even Celestials Are His Vassals

ஓம்என்றும் எழுத் துள்நின்ற ஓசைபோல்,
மேல்நின்ற தேவர் விரும்பும் விழுப்பொருள்,
சேய்நின்ற செஞ்சுடர் எம்பெரு மானடி,
ஆய்கின்ற தேவர் அகம்படி யாமே.
ōmeṉṟum eḻut tuḷniṉṟa ōcaipōl,
mēlniṉṟa tēvar virumpum viḻupporuḷ,
cēyniṉṟa ceñcuṭar emperu māṉaṭi,
āykiṉṟa tēvar akampaṭi yāmē.
English translation of verse 2824:
Unto the sound within the one-letter word "Aum" is He
He is the Great Truth the Celestials long for,
He is the Flaming Light that shines afar,
He is Our Lord,
The Immortals who adore His Feet
Are but beings to His inner service dovoted.
