Verse 1178: Sakti is Mother, Daughter and Spouse
Tamil text and transliteration:
வாயு மனமும் கடந்த மனோன்மணி,
பேயும் கணமும் பெரிதுடைப் பெண்பிள்ளை,
ஆயும் அறிவும் கடந்த அரனுக்குத்,
தாயும் மகளும்நல் தாரமும் ஆமே.
vāyu maṉamum kaṭanta maṉōṉmaṇi,
pēyum kaṇamum perituṭaip peṇpiḷḷai,
āyum aṟivum kaṭanta araṉukkut,
tāyum makaḷumnal tāramum āmē.
English translation of verse 1178:
She is Manonmani beyond word and thought,
She is the Lady that has ghosts and Ganas for Her host,
For Hara who all knowledge surpasses,
She is Mother, Daughter and Spouse at once.
