Īśvara said:

1-2. A pilgrim should visit the sin-destroying Vighneśa stationed there itself. He is named Gajakuṃbhodara and he is the bestower of all Siddhis. Being a great devotee he should remain pure in mind and take his holy bath in the Kuṇḍa (holy pit) there on the fourth lunar day and devoutly adore him. Vighneśa becomes pleased with him.
