Chapter 64 - Greatness of Laksmīśvara

Īśvara said:

1-3. To the eastern side of the same is the shrine well-known as Laksmīśvara stationed within a distance of ten Dhanus. It is destructive of series of impoverished states.

At the place where Lakṣmī was brought by the Supreme Devī after killing the Daityas, is the idol named Laksmīśvara installed by the supreme goddess herself.

He who devoutly worships that Lord in accordance with the injunctions on Śrīpañcamī day (i.e. the fifth lunar day in the bright half of Māgha) is never separated from Lakṣmī (fortune) till the end of the Manvantara, O my beloved!
