लिङ्गदेहाश्रितं कार्श्यं तच्च कर्मनिबन्धनम् ।
कर्म कर्त्रादिसम्भूतं कर्त्राद्यज्ञानहेतुकम् ॥ ७४५ ॥
अहं ब्रह्मेत्यतो ज्ञानाद्ध्वस्तायां प्रत्यगात्मनि ।
कार्श्यहेतावविद्यायामेकत्वाद्बलयत्ययम् ॥ ७४६ ॥

liṅgadehāśritaṃ kārśyaṃ tacca karmanibandhanam |
karma kartrādisambhūtaṃ kartrādyajñānahetukam || 745 ||
ahaṃ brahmetyato jñānāddhvastāyāṃ pratyagātmani |
kārśyahetāvavidyāyāmekatvādbalayatyayam || 746 ||

English translation of verse 2.745-746:

Weakness is dependent on the subtle body, and it is due to karma. Karma is caused by agent, etc., and agent, etc., are due to ignorance.
