Sanskrit text and transliteration:

निश्चितं हि परिज्ञानं फलवत्स्यात्प्रसिद्धितः ॥ ५५३ ॥

niścitaṃ hi parijñānaṃ phalavatsyātprasiddhitaḥ || 553 ||

English translation of verse 2.553:

It is, indeed, well-known that indisputable knowledge alone is fruitful.

Notes:

If we wish co ascertain the view which is free from defect, and therefore tenable, it is because of the fact that only a determinate and certain knowledge (niścita-jñāna) will be of benefit to us.
