ह्रियते मृत्युना जन्तुः परिष्वक्तोऽपि बान्धवैः ।
सागरान्तर्जलगतो गरुडेनेव पन्नगः ॥ २११ ॥

hriyate mṛtyunā jantuḥ pariṣvakto'pi bāndhavaiḥ |
sāgarāntarjalagato garuḍeneva pannagaḥ || 211 ||

English translation of verse 2.211:

Though surrounded by the relatives, the creature is snatched away by death in the same way as a serpent which has gone underneath the ocean is captured by Garuḍa, the enemy of serpents.
