Sanskrit text and transliteration:
पद्माकारो हि मांसस्य खण्डो हृदयमुच्यते ।
आकाशस्तस्य मध्ये यो बुद्धेरायतनं सदा ।
तस्मिन्स पुरुषो ज्ञेयो मनोमय इहाञ्जसा ॥ ११२ ॥
padmākāro hi māṃsasya khaṇḍo hṛdayamucyate |
ākāśastasya madhye yo buddherāyatanaṃ sadā |
tasminsa puruṣo jñeyo manomaya ihāñjasā || 112 ||
English translation of verse 1.112:
The heart, indeed, is said to be a piece of flesh in the shape of a lotus. In the space at the centre of the heart which is always the abode of the intellect, there dwells the person who is manomaya to be cognized directly.
