अथ अपरसाः —
कृष्ण-तत्-प्रतिपक्षश् चेद् विषयाश्रयतां गताः ।
हासादीनां तदा ते’त्र प्राज्ञैर् अपरसा मताः ॥४.९.३८॥atha aparasāḥ —
kṛṣṇa-tat-pratipakṣaś ced viṣayāśrayatāṃ gatāḥ |
hāsādīnāṃ tadā te’tra prājñair aparasā matāḥ ||4.9.38||
English translation
“If Kṛṣṇa becomes the viṣaya and His enemies become the āśraya of hāsya
and other secondary rasas, it is called aparasa by the wise.”
