एवम् एव तु गौणानां हासादीनाम् अपि स्वयम् ।
विज्ञेयोपरसत्वस्य मनीषिभिर् उदाहृतिः ॥४.९.३२॥evam eva tu gauṇānāṃ hāsādīnām api svayam |
vijñeyoparasatvasya manīṣibhir udāhṛtiḥ ||4.9.32||
English translation
“In a similar manner, the wise are able to understand uparasas of the secondary rasas such as hāsya, etc.”
