Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation:
अत्यन्ताभाव एवात्र रतेः खलु विवक्षितः ।
एतस्याः प्राग्-अभावे तु शुचिर् नोपरसो भवेत् ॥४.९.१५॥
atyantābhāva evātra rateḥ khalu vivakṣitaḥ |
etasyāḥ prāg-abhāve tu śucir noparaso bhavet ||4.9.15||
“The intention of the previous verse is also to point out the temporary nature of the wives’ rati (atyanta abhāvaḥ). However, madhuroparasa does not arise here solely because the rati did not exist previously.”
