अत्र उपरसाः —
प्राप्तैः स्थायि-विभावानु-भावाद्यैस् तु विरूपताम् ।
शान्तादयो रसा एव द्वादशोपरसा मताः ॥४.९.३॥atra uparasāḥ —
prāptaiḥ sthāyi-vibhāvānu-bhāvādyais tu virūpatām |
śāntādayo rasā eva dvādaśoparasā matāḥ ||4.9.3||
English translation
“When the sthāyī-bhāva, vibhāva and anubhāva take on distorted forms, the twelve rasas starting with śānta-rasa are called uparasa.”
