The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.8.77; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अनुरक्त-धियो भक्ताः केचन ज्ञान-वर्त्मनि ।
शान्तस्याश्रय-भिन्नत्वे वैरस्यं नानुमन्वते ॥४.८.७७॥

anurakta-dhiyo bhaktāḥ kecana jñāna-vartmani |
śāntasyāśraya-bhinnatve vairasyaṃ nānumanvate
||4.8.77||

English translation

“Some devotees whose hearts are attached to the path of jñāna do not consider it distasteful when the āśraya of śānta-rasa is different from the āśraya of the conflicting rasa (as in the previous example).”
