The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.8.71; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

विषय-भिन्नत्वे, यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.६०.४५) —
त्वक्-श्मश्रु-रोम-नख-केश-पिनद्धम् अन्तर्
मांसास्थि-रक्त-कृमि-विट्-कफ-पित्त-वातम् ।
जीवच्-छवं भजति कान्तम् अति-विमूढा
या ते पदाब्ज-मकरन्दम् अजिघ्रती स्त्री ॥४.८.७१॥viṣaya-bhinnatve, yathā śrī-daśame (10.60.45) —
tvak-śmaśru-roma-nakha-keśa-pinaddham antar
māṃsāsthi-rakta-kṛmi-viṭ-kapha-pitta-vātam |
jīvac-chavaṃ bhajati kāntam ati-vimūḍhā
yā te padābja-makarandam ajighratī strī ||4.8.71||
English translation
Conflicting rasas concerning different objects (madhura-rasa for Kṛṣṇa, bībhatsa for common men), from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.60.45]:
“A woman who fails to relish the fragrance of the honey of Your lotus feet becomes totally befooled, and thus she accepts as her husband or lover a living corpse covered with skin, whiskers, nails, head-hair and body-hair and filled with flesh, bones, blood, parasites, feces, mucus, bile and air.”
