The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.7.10; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
असृङ्-मूत्राकीर्णे घन-शमल-पङ्क-व्यतिकरे
वसन्न् एष क्लिन्नो जड-तनुर् अहं मातुर् उदरे ।
लभे चेतः-क्षोभं तव भजन-कर्माक्षमतया
तद् अस्मिन् कंसारे कुरु मयि कृपा-सागर कृपाम् ॥४.७.१०॥

yathā —
asṛṅ-mūtrākīrṇe ghana-śamala-paṅka-vyatikare
vasann eṣa klinno jaḍa-tanur ahaṃ mātur udare |
labhe cetaḥ-kṣobhaṃ tava bhajana-karmākṣamatayā
tad asmin kaṃsāre kuru mayi kṛpā-sāgara kṛpām
||4.7.10||

English translation

An example of general disgust:
“O enemy of Kaṃsa! Trapped in this body, living in the mother’s womb in contact with a thick muck of skin, covered with urine and blood, I am distressed in heart. Ocean of mercy, please be merciful to me, who am unable to worship You.”
