The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.7.6; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

जुगुप्सा-रतिर् अत्र स्यात् स्थायी सा च विवेकजा ।
प्रायिकी चेति कथिता जुगुप्सा द्वि-विधा बुधैः ॥४.७.६॥

jugupsā-ratir atra syāt sthāyī sā ca vivekajā |
prāyikī ceti kathitā jugupsā dvi-vidhā budhaiḥ
||4.7.6||

English translation

“The sthāyī-bhāva of this rasa is jugupsā-rati. According to the wise, there are two types of jugupsā-rati: vivekaja (arising from discrimination) and prāyikī (common).”
