The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.5.17; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा उद्धव-सन्देशे (७४) —
कृष्णं मुष्णन् अकरुण-बलाद् गोप-नारी-वधार्थी
मा मर्यादाम् यदु-कुल-भुवाम् भिन्धिरे गान्दिनेयः ।
इति उत्तुङ्गा मम मधु-पुरे यात्रया तत्र तासां
वित्रस्तानां परिववलिरे वल्लवीनां विलापाः ॥४.५.१७॥

yathā uddhava-sandeśe (74) —
kṛṣṇaṃ muṣṇan akaruṇa-balād gopa-nārī-vadhārthī
mā maryādām yadu-kula-bhuvām bhindhire gāndineyaḥ |
iti uttuṅgā mama madhu-pure yātrayā tatra tāsāṃ
vitrastānāṃ parivavalire vallavīnāṃ vilāpāḥ
||4.5.17||

English translation

From Uddhava-sandeśa:
“O Akrūra! Look closely! When you mount your chariot and go to Mathurā, millions of our life airs will also depart. O merciless one, Akrūra! You are cruel, forcibly taking Kṛṣṇa away from Vraja. Do not destroy respect for the Yadu dynasty!”
