The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.5.10; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
उत्तिष्ठ मूढ कुरु मा विलम्बं
वृथैव धिक् पण्डित-मानिनी त्वम् ।
क्रट्यत्-पलाशि-द्वयम् अन्तरा ते
बद्धः सुतो’सौ सखि बम्भ्रमीति ॥४.५.१०॥

yathā —
uttiṣṭha mūḍha kuru mā vilambaṃ
vṛthaiva dhik paṇḍita-māninī tvam |
kraṭyat-palāśi-dvayam antarā te
baddhaḥ suto’sau sakhi bambhramīti
||4.5.10||

English translation

An example:
“Oh! You have fainted! Get up, and do not delay uselessly. You think yourself so skillful in teaching your son! O friend! Your bound-up son is moving between the two broken arjuna trees.”
