The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.43; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

त्यागोत्साह-रतिर् धीरैः स्थायी भाव इहोदितः ।
त्यागेच्छा तादृशी प्रौढा त्यागोत्साह इतीर्यते ॥४.३.४३॥

tyāgotsāha-ratir dhīraiḥ sthāyī bhāva ihoditaḥ |
tyāgecchā tādṛśī prauḍhā tyāgotsāha itīryate
||4.3.43||

English translation

“The wise say that the sthāyī-bhāva of this rasa is tyāgotsāha-rati. Tyāgotsāha means the deep desire to reject things like the five type of liberation.”
