The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.16; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

आहोपुरुषिका, यथा —
धृताटोपे गोपेश्वर-जलधि-चन्द्रे परिकरं
निबध्नत्य् उल्लासाद् भुज-समर-चर्या-समुचितम् ।
स-रोमाञ्चं क्ष्वेडा-निविड-मुख-बिम्बस्य नटतः
सुदाम्नः सोत्कण्ठं जयति मुहुर् आहोपुरुषिका ॥४.३.१६॥

āhopuruṣikā, yathā —
dhṛtāṭope gopeśvara-jaladhi-candre parikaraṃ
nibadhnaty ullāsād bhuja-samara-caryā-samucitam |
sa-romāñcaṃ kṣveḍā-niviḍa-mukha-bimbasya naṭataḥ
sudāmnaḥ sotkaṇṭhaṃ jayati muhur āhopuruṣikā
||4.3.16||

English translation

Show of self-pride:
“O lord of the cowherds! All glories to Sudāma who, displaying great self-confidence and roaring like a lion, danced around until his hairs stood on end and his eagerness of fighting increased, when the proud Kṛṣṇa tightened His belt with great show.”
