The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.15; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र कत्थितम्, यथा —
प्रोत्साहयस्यतितरां किम् इवाग्रहेण
मां केशिसूदन विदन्न् अपि भद्रसेनम् ।
योद्धुं बलेन समम् अत्र सुदुर्बलेन
दिव्यार्गला प्रतिभटस् त्रपते भुजो मे ॥४.३.१५॥

tatra katthitam, yathā —
protsāhayasyatitarāṃ kim ivāgraheṇa
māṃ keśisūdana vidann api bhadrasenam |
yoddhuṃ balena samam atra sudurbalena
divyārgalā pratibhaṭas trapate bhujo me
||4.3.15||

English translation

Boasting as anubhāva:
“O killer of Keśi! You know that I am Bhadrasena. Why are You eager to fight with weak Baladeva? My arm resembling a shining door bolt is ashamed of this.”
