The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.12; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र कत्थितम् —
पिण्डीशूरस् त्वम् इह सुबलं कैतवेनाबलाङ्गं
जित्वा दामोदर युधि वृथा मा कृथाः कत्थितानि ।
माद्यन्न् एष त्वद्-अलघु-भुजासर्प-दर्पापहारी
मन्द्रध्वानो नटति निकटे स्तोककृष्णः कलापी ॥४.३.१२॥

tatra katthitam —
piṇḍīśūras tvam iha subalaṃ kaitavenābalāṅgaṃ
jitvā dāmodara yudhi vṛthā mā kṛthāḥ katthitāni
|
mādyann eṣa tvad-alaghu-bhujāsarpa-darpāpahārī
mandradhvāno naṭati nikaṭe stokakṛṣṇaḥ kalāpī
||4.3.12||

English translation

Boasting as uddīpana:
“O Dāmodara! You are expert only at eating. Do not boast after winning over the weak Subāla by cheating. This peacock in the form of Stoka-kṛṣṇa, destroyer of the snake of Your long arms, is dancing madly nearby while making loud sounds.”
