The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.6; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र कृष्णो, यथा —
अपराजित-मानिनं हठाच्
चटुलं त्वाम् अभिभूय माधव ।
धिनुयाम् अधुना सुहृद्-गणं
यदि न त्वं समरात् पराञ्चसि ॥४.३.६॥

tatra kṛṣṇo, yathā —
aparājita-māninaṃ haṭhāc
caṭulaṃ tvām abhibhūya mādhava |
dhinuyām adhunā suhṛd-gaṇaṃ
yadi na tvaṃ samarāt parāñcasi
||4.3.6||

English translation

Fighting with Kṛṣṇa:
“O Mādhava! You are very unsteady, but You think that no one can beat You. If You do not flee from the fight, I will now defeat You and please Your friends!”
