आवेग-हर्ष-जाड्याद्यास् तत्र स्युर् व्यभिचारिणः ।
स्थायी स्याद् विस्मय-रतिः सा लोकोत्तर-कर्मतः ।
साक्षाद् अनुमितं चेति तच् च द्विविधम् उच्यते ॥४.२.४॥āvega-harṣa-jāḍyādyās tatra syur vyabhicāriṇaḥ |
sthāyī syād vismaya-ratiḥ sā lokottara-karmataḥ |
sākṣād anumitaṃ ceti tac ca dvividham ucyate ||4.2.4||
English translation
“Āvega, harṣa, jāḍyam etc. are the vyabhicārī-bhāvas. Vismaya-rati caused by Kṛṣṇa’s superhuman actions is the sthāyī-bhāva. There are two types of superhuman actions: direct and inferred.”
